Corn condition drops by 2 percentage points
Corn condition going into this week is pretty much the same as it was last week, with less-than-anticipated rain failing to turn the crop around at a critical time.
Twenty-four percent of the U.S. corn crop is rated "good" or "excellent," compared to 26 percent the previous week, according to the "Crop Progress" report released Monday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
